DHEA

Imbalanced DHEA Symptoms (too high or too low)

DHEA is a weaker androgen produced mainly in the adrenal glands with a small portion made in the brain and skin. The body converts DHEA to androgens and estrogens, including testosterone and estradiol. Production declines as we age starting in the late twenties. Critical functions of DHEA include preventing blood clots, promoting weight loss, increases brain function, helps to deal with stress, immune system support and more.
