Imbalanced Testosterone Symptoms (too high or too low)

Both men and women make testosterone. Functions of testosterone include sexual interest, emotional well-being, self-confidence and motivation, increases in muscle mass and strength, memory maintenance, increases in skin tone, decreases in body fat, prevention of osteoporosis, and more. Testosterone levels reach their peak around age 18 to 19 before declining throughout the remainder of adulthood, typically about 1% per year after age 30 or 40.
